SEAO2-CDR Infographics

This overview of the SEAO2-CDR project, and wider considerations and priorities within the mCDR sector, was co-created by Early Career Researchers working on the project in May 2026. Working with Fran O’Hara (Scarlet Design), who facilitated the discussions and produced the visual map, they defined the scope and questions of the map and used their own expertise and knowledge to answer them.

This map was produced by Fran O’Hara (Scarlet Design) during the SEAO2-CDR General Assembly in May 2026, when the Early Career Researcher’s presented their overview of the project and priorities for the mCDR sector (above) to the rest of the consortia. It captures some of the discussions, thoughts and perspectives prompted by that overview.

This schematic of the SEAO2-CDR work packages summarises some of the pathways through which knowledge has been exchanged between project participants. It was created by the Early Career Researchers who reviewed their own areas of information exchange relating to the evaluation of Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE) as a mCDR pathway. Facilitation and illustration was conducted by Fran O’Hara (Scarlet Design).
