The SEAO2-CDR project team came together with colleagues and partners to discuss carbon dioxide removal.

Dr Willem van Dorp and Dr Simon van Hurne attended a special networking conference in Brussels in November, where he led a presentation introducing the SEAO2-CDR work.

The C-SINK clustering event brought together different CDR projects, partners and EU representatives to discuss research, findings and challenges.

Dr van Dorp said: “It was great to be at the event. There were some interesting discussions on the main challenges of technologies for CDR and specifically on challenges for the accountability and durability.”
