The newest climate mitigation techniques came under the spotlight recently, on the award-winning ‘Into the Blue Podcast’.

The ocean serves as the planet’s largest carbon reservoir, which means it is vital for regulating climate systems and atmospheric carbon dioxide. It also means it is crucial to develop tools and mechanisms for evaluating marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR).

SEAO2-CDR project lead, Dr Chris Pearce, joined Dr Zoe Jacobs to discuss the process, implementation and importance of mCDR including how essential it is for the ongoing protection of our oceans.
